Car idling in drive thru line. Inside car, customer is waiting. Customer's fingers rhythmically drumming on steering wheel visible.

SFx of fingers drumming on steering wheel heard over radio in background.

Customer (slightly sarcastic): This is great. Thirty minutes to eat and get to our next job, and I make the brilliant decision to go through a fast food drive thru.

OK, what's this? A picture of all of our choices. I guess that could actually speed things up.

Car moves ahead to Preview Board.

I've decided. But here comes the failure to communicate.

Crew (clear studio): Welcome to Burger King, may I take your order?

Car moves ahead to Menu Board.

Customer scans menu choices.

Hey, that was pretty clear.

Crew: We've been working on that, sir.

Oh, I'll have a Whopper Value Meal, no pickles, extra mayo with a Kingsize Coke and fries.

CU Order Confirmation Unit.

Crew: That's a Whopper Value Meal, no pickles, extra mayo with a Kingsize Coke and fries, right?

That's right. (She really did hear me.)

Crew in headset.

Crew: That'll be $3.69. Would you like to pay with cash or credit card?

Ralph, you got any cash?

Sir?

Just kiddin. Credit card would be nice.

Customer hands crew credit card. Crew swipes card, enters transaction information and returns card to customer.

Crew: If you're going to be eating in your car, would you like to have that in a Value Meal tray, to keep it from spilling.

That's a good idea. ... On second thought, I'd like to try one of those insulated package things.

We'll go straight to the job and eat there.

Crew hands customer his food order in Insulated Home Pack.

Crew: The Insulated Hone Pack.

Right, right.

Customer pulls away from drive thru window.

Crew hands another customer an order in an EZ View package.

Original customer snaps finger.

Car pulls into Customer Courtesy Area.

Dad gum it, I forgot to ask for extra Ketchup.

Oh, maybe I can get some Ketchup in this Customer Courtesy Area.

Oh, hi. Could I get some more Ketchup? My friend has to have extra Ketchup.

Crew: No, problem, sir, we'll bring it right out. Anything else?

Nope, Ketchup will do it.

Crew member hustles out with Ketchup in a bag.

Customer glances at watch. ... Ralph (dog) sniffs at food tray.

Ralph, 'ol boy, I think we're gonna make it after all.

Now that wasn't so bad, was it?

Ralph, I take back everything bad I ever said about drive thrus.

Ralph!

Keep your paws off my Whopper.
